| A record 77 mln taxpayers have filed their tax returns electronically in 2007, Internal Revenue Service said. The average refund in 2007 was $2,255, up 2.5% over the same time in 2006. More than 59 mln refunds were deposited directly into savings, checking and brokerage accounts, more than 61% of all refunds issued. |
